What is Tax Registration Number (TRN)?

A Tax Registration Number (TRN) is the 15-digit number the UAE Federal Tax Authority gives a business when it registers for VAT or corporate tax. It starts with 100 and must appear on every tax invoice.

Customers check a supplier's TRN on the FTA website before reclaiming input VAT. For most businesses the same TRN is used for VAT and corporate tax.
