Accounting and tax services in Dubai

Dubai is home to our UAE office, so Dubai clients can meet us in person at Meydan Grandstand or work with us fully online. Most of our Dubai clients are owner-managed companies: consultancies, trading businesses, tech start-ups and UK-owned subsidiaries that need clean monthly books and on-time FTA filings without hiring an in-house finance team.

Dubai companies face more than one set of rules. Mainland companies licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) deal with VAT and corporate tax like any UAE business, while free zone companies must also meet their free zone's annual filing requirements and, if they want the 0% Qualifying Free Zone Person rate, prepare audited financial statements. We plan the year around all of those deadlines.

What we do for Dubai clients

  • Monthly bookkeeping in Xero, Zoho Books or QuickBooks
  • Quarterly VAT returns and VAT registration
  • Corporate tax registration, returns and QFZP reviews
  • Audited accounts support for DMCC, JAFZA and other free zones
  • WPS payroll and end-of-service gratuity

Dubai free zones we support

  • DMCC
  • IFZA
  • JAFZA
  • Meydan Free Zone
  • Dubai South
  • DAFZA
  • Dubai Silicon Oasis
  • DIFC
  • Dubai Internet City

Mainland licences in Dubai are issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). Tax registration and filing for all Dubai companies is with the Federal Tax Authority through EmaraTax.

Accounting in Dubai: common questions

Can I meet an accountant in person in Dubai?

Yes. Our UAE office is at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. Meetings are by appointment, and most ongoing work is handled online.

Do Dubai free zone companies need audited accounts?

Often, yes. Many Dubai free zones, including DMCC and JAFZA, ask for audited financial statements at licence renewal, and any company claiming Qualifying Free Zone Person status for corporate tax must prepare audited financial statements. We prepare the books and schedules your auditor needs.

How much do accounting services in Dubai cost?

Fees depend on transaction volume, VAT registration, payroll and whether audited accounts are needed. We quote a fixed monthly fee after a free 30-minute discovery call, so there are no hourly surprises.
