Accounting and tax services in Sharjah
Sharjah attracts cost-conscious founders: traders and manufacturers in SAIF Zone and Hamriyah, and creatives and consultants on SHAMS and Sharjah Publishing City licences. These businesses often run on thin margins, so the priority is simple — accurate books, VAT handled correctly on imports and exports, and no avoidable FTA penalties.
Many Sharjah clients are freelancers or small companies close to the thresholds that matter: the AED 375,000 VAT registration threshold, the AED 1 million turnover test that brings individuals into corporate tax, and the AED 3 million revenue limit for Small Business Relief. We monitor those numbers every month so you register, or elect relief, at the right time.

Accounting in Sharjah: common questions
Do SHAMS freelancers have to pay corporate tax?
A freelancer (natural person) comes into UAE corporate tax only when business turnover exceeds AED 1 million in a calendar year. Below that, no corporate tax registration is needed, although VAT registration may still apply above AED 375,000 of taxable supplies.
Can a Sharjah trading company claim Small Business Relief?
Yes, if revenue is AED 3 million or less in the tax period and in every previous tax period, and the company is not a Qualifying Free Zone Person or part of a large multinational group. The relief must be elected in the corporate tax return and is available for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2026.
Do you visit clients in Sharjah?
Yes. Our Dubai office is a short drive away, and we meet Sharjah clients on site for onboarding and year-end reviews. Day-to-day work is done online.
