Fees and VAT
The DLD fee and title deed fees are government charges and carry no VAT. Agent and trustee fees are services and carry 5% VAT. A new residential unit bought from a developer is zero-rated for VAT; see the VAT on property calculator. Fees are set by the DLD and can change, so the calculator lets you edit them.
