Emiratisation target and contribution calculator

Private companies with 50 or more employees must raise the share of Emiratis in skilled roles by 2% a year (1% each half year). For each Emirati short of the target, MoHRE charges a monthly financial contribution that rises each year. Enter your current target and contribution amount to see the cost.

How the target is counted

The target applies to skilled jobs (MoHRE skill levels 1 to 3). Emiratis must be registered with the pension authority and paid through WPS to count. Fake Emiratisation (hiring on paper) carries heavy fines. The figures change each year, so the calculator lets you edit the target and contribution.

Legal basis

We review this calculator whenever the FTA or Ministry of Finance issues a new decision or clarification.
